Our Story

Functional foods offer health benefits that extend beyond their nutritional value.

This concept originated out East, in Japan in the 1980s, when their government started
approving foods with known benefits in an attempt to better the health of the Japanese people.

As far as we know, these offerings are very niche, if they exist at all. We believe we are on the cutting
edge of the functional food boom. Foods that will serve an even bigger purpose than just what we call
“nutrition” conventionally.

  • Danny Parrott

    Danny is the owner of Parrott Food & Beverage Corporation & MOVERs Elixirs LLC. He has a certification from the Herbal Academy International School of Herbal Sciences, specializing in adaptogenic herbs and developing practical ways to consume them for stress relief and immune enhancement.

    To date, he has worked with hundreds of individuals across the United States as a consultant, researcher, educator and herbal product innovator.

    He serves as the President of Maxx Philanthropies, named after his son & is an ambassador for the Journey of Intrinsic health in collaboration with Dr. Zach Bush

  • Vincent Esposito

    Dr. Vincent Esposito graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, where he also received a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition. He is a board-certified chiropractor, and has a particular interest in mind-body medicine, gut health, and using food as medicine, and has a burning passion for cooking! He believes that we all deserve long lives full of health and vitality. His goal is to help others achieve this by teaching about the importance of the food we eat, the water we drink, air we breathe, people we build relationships with, and the body’s innate ability to heal. He helps others overcome the fear of symptoms and adopt the mindset of healing.
